Let’s Talk About Intel Processors
Concerned about your Intel Core 13/14th Gen CPU? We hear you.
Intel has determined that a number of 13th and 14th-generation Core processors have shown elevated operating voltage which is causing instability issues in some 13th/14th Gen desktop processors.
Their analysis of returned processors confirms that the elevated operating voltage is stemming from a microcode algorithm resulting in incorrect voltage requests to the processor.
This Intel processor issue started back in December of 2022.
Since then, Intel has been hard at work at pushing a solution out for their customers.
A microcode patch has since been released by Intel.
This patch will prevent the issues from happening on these processors,
but it will not repair the ones that have already been impacted.
Intel has pledged to grant replacements to those who are affected.
What does this mean
for me?
Intel is currently making sure that all customers who have or are currently experiencing instability symptoms on their 13th and/or 14th Gen desktop processors are supported in the exchange process.
If your PC is not affected by this Intel processor issue, you’re fine! You may continue enjoying your Dreamcore PC experience.
